As a part of the SecEdge software portfolio, MicroEdge™ is managed by ControlEdge™ services which allows for the deployment of IPsec tunnels facilitating secure communications with other NetEdge™ instances.

MicroEdge™ can use a variety of root-of-trust options to securely provision devices and keys at first boot, store keys, change ownership, manage secure tunnels, and rotate keys as a part of normal, seamless device operation.
